Prepare the batter:
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.200 G Butter, 2 Cups Sugar, 4 Eggs, Vanilla
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.3 Cups Flour, 3 Tsp Baking Powder
- Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.1 Cup Milk

Divide the batter:
- Divide the batter into three equal parts.
- In one part, stir in the instant coffee dissolved in hot water.1 Tsp Instant Coffee, 2 Tbsp Hot Water
- In another part, stir in the cocoa powder.2 Tbsp Unsweetened Cacao powder
Layer the batter:
- Pour one-third of the plain batter into the prepared pan.

- Top with one-third of the coffee batter.
- Finish with the remaining plain batter.
- Do not mix the layers.
Bake the cake:
- Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (180°C) for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before serving.
