There's nothing quite like a warm slice of meatloaf to evoke feelings of home and comfort. This satisfying dish, made with ground meat, breadcrumbs, and a blend of savory seasonings, is a true family favorite. Ingredients
  

  • 500 G Ground Meat Beef
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ Cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Onion grated
  • ½ Tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • ½ Tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ Tsp All Spices or Sweet Pepper
  • ¼ Tsp Black pepper
  • ½ Tsp Paprika
  • ¼ Tsp Nutmeg
  • ¼ Tsp White pepper

  • 1 Baking tray
  • Baking paper
  • Aluminum Foil

Instructions
 

Prepare the Meat Mixture:
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, grated onion, breadcrumbs, egg and spices.
    500 G Ground Meat, 1 Egg, ¼ Cup Breadcrumbs, 1 Onion grated, ½ Tsp Garlic powder, ½ Tsp Cinnamon, ½ Tsp All Spices or Sweet Pepper, ¼ Tsp Black pepper, ½ Tsp Paprika, ¼ Tsp Nutmeg, ¼ Tsp White pepper, ½ Tsp Salt
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Shape the Rosto:
  1. Spread the meat patty on baking paper.
  2. Place desired filling (Carrots, pistachio, garlic slices, boiled egg…) .
  3. Roll the patty with the baking paper and then with an aluminum foil.
  4. Place the roll in the fridge for at least one hour
Bake:
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (180°C).
  2. Place the meat rolls on a baking tray.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes, then uncover the rolls and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

You can make ahead your meat rosto (meat loaf) and freeze it unbaked for 3 to 4 months.

Serving suggestions: 

Leave your loaf until slightly cool, slice into pieces with desired thickness, and serve with your favorite sides, such as rice, pita bread, a fresh salad, or some boiled vegetables and potato wedges.
