White Rice with Vermicelli
Cooked white rice is a staple food in many cultures. It's a versatile grain that can be enjoyed on its own or as a side dish. When cooked, it has a soft, fluffy texture and a mild flavor. But what will surprise you is that with many stews in Lebanon we prepare white rice too but not any white rice, we prepare it with vermicelli. Do not forget that it is important to wash the rice because it removes any excess starch so that when you cook it the grains remain separate and remove dust and debris.
