Batata Harra is a Lebanese spicy potato side dish that's full of flavor. Easy to make and perfect to serve as part of a mezze or with grilled meat dishes!
These Lebanese spicy potatoes are traditionally known as “Batata Harra.” They are fried or roasted until crispy and then tossed in a flavorful sauce made with cilantro, garlic, paprika, and a twist of lemon juice.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Potatoes
  • Oil To Toss the potatoes if using an Air fyer
  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Tbsp Oil Vegetable or Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • ¼ Tsp White Pepper
  • ½ Tsp Paprika
  • ½ Tsp Ground Coriander
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • ¾ Cup Fresh Coriander

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer Optional
  • 1 Pot or Pan

Instructions
 

Prepare the Potato:
  1. Peel and cut potatoes into medium-sized chunks. 2.
    4 Potatoes
  2. Toss the potato pieces with oil

  3. Place the potatoes in an air fryer basket.
  4. Air fry according to your air fryer's instructions, or until crispy and cooked through.
Prepare the sauce:
  1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
    2 Tbsp Oil
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
    5 Garlic Cloves
  3. Add salt and spices (white pepper, paprika, ground coriander) and stir well.
    ¼ Tsp White Pepper, ½ Tsp Paprika, ½ Tsp Ground Coriander, Salt
Combine ingredients:
  1. Add the cooked potatoes to the spiced oil and toss to coat.
  2. Add fresh lemon juice over the potatoes.
    2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  3. Garnish with chopped coriander and mix for few seconds, remove from the heat and trabsfer to a plate.
    ¾ Cup Fresh Coriander
